The Friends of the Malverne Public LIbrary is a group of volunteers dedicated to supporting and expanding the services offered by the Library to both adults and children.
The Friends have donated chairs, a portable stage, shades and a movie screen for the meeting room so that the library may present programs, lectures and concerts. In addition, we underwrite many of these programs, including the Final Celebration for the children's Summer Reading Program.
The Friends recently paid for the Malverne Beautification Committee to update the plantings around our entrance.
We hold a Victorian Tea each May. This delightful Victorian-style tea features various sweets and of course tea! It is always a very successful fundraiser. Please check for more information in April.
MEMBER DONATIONS
Annual donations start at $ 10.00 for seniors and students and are up for renewal during April and May. Donations are tax deductible. Individuals are $15; family $25, patron $75 and $100 for benefactor.
